Olde Tyme Christmas in Harpers Ferry
You are invited to the 42st annual Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration in historical Harpers Ferry, where you can enjoy the popular activities and events offered in "Christmas Past" celebrations and also some new events. From about November 27th through January 6th, the Town will be arrayed in fragrant green garlands, red bows, and twinkling lights (which give a modern but warm touch to the 1860 living history village). On each weekend from November 30 December through December 9, shops and streets will be filled with special treats for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages: musical performances, puppet shows, storytelling, visits with Santa, caroling, arts and crafts shows, and much more. Located only an hour train-ride or drive from Washington, DC, Harpers Ferry offers a traditional Christmas celebration that will charm and delight you, your family, and friends!
