The Appalachian Trail runs right through Harpers Ferry on its way south to Georgia and north to Maine. The Harpers Ferry National Historical Park has over 20 miles of hiking trails - with maps on the website.

First Zion Baptist Church Restoration Project
The Foundation has purchased First Zion Baptist Church on W. Ridge Street in Harpers Ferry in order to preserve the building for future use as cultural center for Harpers Ferry and Bolivar. The site will also serve a significant role in interpreting history.
